Old Yeavering Bed & Breakfast

Old Yeavering is a small, charming, comfortable and well appointed Bed and Breakfast and is ideally situated to explore this lovely part of North Northumberland. Sited on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, surrounded by stunning views of Glendale, Old Yeavering is open all year round providing peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The cottage lies at the foot of Yeavering Bell and its Iron Age hill fort and is adjacent to Gefrin, the site of the palace of the 7th Century Kings of Northumberland. Located just off the A697, three miles north of the market town of Wooler, the Bed & Breakfast is wonderfully placed as a midway stopover on the St Cuthbert’s Walk or as a base from which to explore the many attractions of this part of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.


Accommodation. The spacious and pretty Twin bedroom is centrally heated and has a lovely view over Glendale. The room is well equipped with TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer,etc. and comes with adjacent private bathroom.

Please Note There is the possibility of a second room, loo and wash hand basin adjoining, for parties of two to four who would not mind sharing the bathroom - see Accommodation page for details.

For walkers traveling the St Cuthbert's Way route without transport we can arrange pick-up transport subject to prior arrangement and availability.
